Blood and body fluids

There is a particular risk when coming into contact with blood or other body fluids. This can occur, for example, through needlestick injuries, cuts, or contact with broken skin.

Viruses such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV can be transmitted in this way. Even very small amounts can be enough to cause an infection.
