HIV

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is transmitted through blood and sexual contact. It weakens the immune system, making the body more susceptible to infections.

Without treatment, HIV can progress to AIDS. There is a high risk of transmission through contact with blood or needlestick injuries.
